Hard to see two teams from the NFCE getting in this year.

I think the Skins will make the playoffs and I also think they will be a dangerous team because they are getting confidence in themselves. I see the Skins playing at least 2 playoff games.

3 weeks ago that was true, but now, if Chicago loses this weekend, the chances for the Giants and winner of the Dallas/Skins game to both be in is very good.

That said, the eagles are set up perfectly to be the spoiler for both the Skins and Giants, so don't count them as a W yet.

what tiebreaker do we have over them?

1. Head-to-head, if applicable.
n/a

2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
both teams 8-4

3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
seattle 4-1, redskins 3-2

They still have to play San Fran (at home which makes that game a lot more interesting) but if we go 10-6 and they go 10-6 there one lose being to San Fran we get the tie breaker, if Seattle loses it depends who they lose to.

yes, any loss by any of the 3 teams helps us by itself, except seattle losing to buffalo

3 remaining games for these 4 teams:
redskins:
cle phi dal

giants:
atl bal phi

seahawks:
buf sf stl

bears:
gb arz det

a seahawk loss to buffalo does not help us on it's own

Re: Playoff Predictor

In all of these scenarios, we need to win out. I am hopeful that the team is staying focused on that fact.

it's true. realistically, we need to win out.

i doubt the giants are going to lose to the falcons and the ravens, or that any of these teams will drop 2.

Re: Playoff Predictor

I saw Faulk had the Skins winning the NFC East. It's hard to believe that this team is hot this time of year.

When this season started I was hoping to be in the 8-9 win area and that would have been a very successful season, I also wanted to be in the playoff graphic in December (it has been a long time for that one). However, now I am getting greedy and want the division! Every year at least one division has someone go from worst to first and we are the only chance for it this year and I really want to give the rams crappy draft positions.
