Re: Playoff Predictor
I went by offensive rank and it has the Giants at the Redskins for a wild card. Imagine THAT game in the playoffs!

Re: Playoff Predictor
I went with win % with Skins losing @ CLE, winning against PHI and DAL. Have PIT beating DAL. We'd tie with Giants 9-7, winning NFC East via tiebreaker. Had the same matchup, Giants at Skins in wildcard round.

Re: Playoff Predictor
We need to win the division now. I don't see Seattle losing that last WC spot. Maybe Chicago can implode and lose out, but Seattle may only lose their game against SF. The rest of their opponents are cupcakes.
Dallas is a mess so they don't worry me. We just need to win one more game than the Giants here out...one being the Dallas game to make sure they're dead. I think Atlanta will beat the Giants. I really hope Baltimore can too. We can manage 2 out of 3 easily I think...but winning out is going to be tough, starting with Cleveland this week. They're beaten Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and played Dallas and the Giants really tight. They should not be overlooked. Vick and McCoy may be back for our game too. They've been playing better without them since we've beat them too...I'd hate to see us drop that game. That would be embarrassing. If the division is on the line against Dallas, which it likely will be, RGIII will come out like an unstoppable force. He'll play left-handed to win that game. I'm optimistic that we can win our games. I'm worried the Giants will win their games too though. If last week against the Saints is any indication, they're starting up their late season hot streak that they're famous for after a bad middle of the season.

Re: Playoff Predictor
I put in by power rankings and it has the Giants winning the division at 9-5-2. Has them tying the Ravens and Eagles, but beating the Falcons. Thinking this thing isn't working as planned.

Re: Playoff Predictor
They've both passed their concussion tests.
McCoy has a chance to play limited snaps on Thursday. Reid knows he's getting fired and Vick's going too most likely...he's going to want to win a few at the end. All they have left is the spoiler role. Reid doesn't care about Foles' development and future any more...he won't be there. I really doubt Vick will play but it wouldn't shock me. We need to at least realize it could be a possibility as we prepare for the game.

Re: Playoff Predictor
I don't think I could stomach another Patriots/Giants Super Bowl. I'm done with seeing both teams in the big dance, and especially after the crap Mara pulled on us, I would be especially bitter with the Giants being there. I'm just tired of Tom Brady and Bill Belecheat. I literally think I would skip this year's Super Bowl if I had to endure Eli VS Tom part 3!

Re: Playoff Predictor
I don't see anyone stopping the Patriots at this point. Big injuries don't even slow them down. Only losing Brady could stop them.
It's between them and Denver in the AFC as I see it. Houston is a lot like Atlanta where their record is a lot better than they have played. The NFC is wide open...so many possibilities. I'd love to see a rematch of SBXXII...us vs. Denver. Maybe next year, realistically.

Re: Playoff Predictor
?? Foles Named Starter For Rest Of Season Foles was named the starter the rest of the season a week or so ago. Vick's tenure in Philly is over. He will be cut during that 3 day period that gets them off the hook for big money.

Re: Playoff Predictor
Giants would have to lose to both the Falcons and the Ravens, I don't think that happens. I am hoping one of them will have the gas to beat the Giants, but they do seem to know how to win in December, and the Ravens just changed the OC for a guy who has never called plays before in the NFL. I think the Ravens could slide down a deep hill.

Re: Playoff Predictor
we need to win out, that's the easiest solution. If we do that, and either Chicago or Seattle loses 1 (likely with GB playing Chicago for the division marbles this week) we are in, and then it's just positioning.
