Re: Are a we playoff team?
The Cardinals are a pretty good team. Look, I'd like to say that we made the plays when it counted...which was true up until the onside kick. After that play, we were lucky we didn't get a win stolen from us. Gregg Williams strategic playcalling in a unique situation was about as assinine as Saunders' playcalling is every third and short (three steps, throw quick to no one in particular).
I didn't think the Skins played especially bad today, but they didn't play especially well either. All you can say about the end of the game is that it was a crazy situation...and we ended up winning. We forced three turnovers and that is why we won today. No other reason.

Re: Are a we playoff team?
We can't run, we can't throw and the only reason we're in games is because of the gutsy play of the D. Gibbs and Saunders should be ashamed of their terrible coaching performance...just terrible.
I'm not ready to write this team off just yet but with the NE next, I'm not really expecting much from the O which is a shame really because I think our D will do a fantastic job to keep us in the game.

Re: Are a we playoff team?
Yes. Our defense alone makes us a playoff caliber team. Today the defense gave up a lot of yards, but they also nabbed 3 turnovers, including one for 7 points. The offense looked absolutely dreadful, but who cares when the defense is winning tight games? Right now, you can't say we are not a playoff caliber team unless you can name 6 NFC clubs that are better.

Re: Are a we playoff team?
At this point it doesn't matter. We need to keep playing our game and pull for a 10-6 season with atleast 4-2 in the division.
The cards are a good team with Warner. WIth leinart the sucked. Every time warner was put in they did well> They looked good with him at the end of the steelers game and the ravens game. Both of those were losses. To me they could easily be 5-1 going into this game. The lost their three games by a total of 13 points. We played a good team and won because our defense is sick and our defense will pull us to the playoffs in my opinion. |

Do we look like a playoff team? NO
Will we make the Playoffs? Theres a good pssibility. At least we've kept ourselves in the race. Hopefully it stands true that "joe gibbs teams are good in Dec." |

Re: Are a we playoff team?
I said in the prediction post the other day that this would be a much more difficult game than fans thought. These are not your father's Cards. They have several great players on the DLine as well as good LB's. Where are we weak? OL. Gibbs and Saunders did a great job of trying to hide just how weak the line is. If Rabach is healthy next week everyone will be using the inconsistent line but really with no holes and no protection the skill players cant do anything.

Re: Are a we playoff team?
well here's my thing...while the cards are not horrible by any means, we had them down and were in complete control of the game...and if fletcher doesn't do that f'ing stupid taunting, i really don't think this game ends up that close.
that being said, the playcalling is just bad. i realize our o-line is decimated, so why not use more screens, roll out passes, WR screens, quick slant passes...plays that get away from the lines protection. i just don't get this very vanilla conservative calling that doesn't produce any results. |

Let's give the Cards D some credit, they bottled things up pretty good all day. |

Re: Are a we playoff team?
I think we're a playoff team. The bad thing about that is it shows the lack of dominance any of the other NFC teams are showing. We can beat any NFC team out there. We can make the playoffs but we're not going to the Super Bowl.
