Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
I'm expecting the Bingo Offense to struggle just as mightily as we did with Zorn calling plays. I can't imagine scoring more than 10 points unless the defense or special teams score.

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
i honestly expect an epic loss. The eagles will be reeling from a nasty and embarrassing loss to the hapless raiders and the skins are the perfect tonic. I expect our much vaunted defense to not be able to keep them under 24 points (bc they'll be on the field a lot) and I expect the phili defense to have 6-8 sacks on a confused redskins offense that will burn timeouts (due to relaying play-calling). I could easily see a 30-6 final. sad but true.

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
Does any one know how many teams relay plays in? I am of the uninformed belief that maybe as many as ten do. But it seems to be a huge concern to many on the site. If a call player knows his plan and can think one to two steps ahead (zorn's problem, and the cause of many of our delays) I would not think we will see any issues that way.
I think many playcallers use a measurement opportunity to plan 2 or 3 plays, zorn was clear he didn't use it to plan any. I will be glad Tuesday to start seeing threads with titles like "Lewis should be our OC" or "Our offense does have a clue" and going into the bye week on a positive note after all this negativity |

I expect to see Haynesworth carry the ball behind the Flying Wedge. Take that, Wildcat!

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
The game will be ugly and close. The Redskins don't often get blown out. We have a terrible habit of playing down to our competition, but we also play up to opponents better than us.

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
I expect a big loss.Yes zorns playcalling has been taken away,but whos making the big descisions?Thats still Zorn,and thats what i dont like{like deciding not to kick the fg before halftime last week}
I read where one of the skins said Lewis is studying game film of our last win at philly to help prepare, well im sure Philly is studying that game too and they are going to be prepared for anything we pull.Unless the defense plays lights out and gets us some easy points on turnovers then i think this will be a philly blowout

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
I agree with Tryfuhl's scoring prediction, but might add a TD for McNabb. He was embarrassed by the loss to the Raiders and the Eagles need to show folks that they are still an elite team. I don't think having Sherman playcalling is going to all of a sudden bring Malcolm Kelly to life either, it is still the same playbook. Henry Ellard or Leslie Sheppard would have given us more production than Kelly and Thomas and those guys are what 50ish?

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
Eagles come out looking to avenge loss to Raiders, Skins D hangs tough but wears down in the 4th do to us being lost on offense due to changes = 20-6

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
I think Lewis is going to struggle with play calling early on leading to the defense being on the field for most of the first half. In the end Skins will lose.

Re: What do you expect in the Philly Game
Lewis's play calling succeeds brilliantly and the Redkins win in a route 48-3. NFL talking heads on all networks backtrack saying they new that DS would right the ship this week. John Riggins and Joe Theissman both sing praises to Vinny Cerrato on the radio and adorn him with the title GM for Life. Dan makes millions on his newly printed "Snyderatto Rules" t-shirts. But suddenly, an undiscoverd structural flaw in FedExField drops the floor out of the owners booth and the entire front office ownership and staff plunge to a horrifying death. The team is sold at auction to the highest bidder, one John Kent Cooke, who immediately announces that he's going sailing to DisneyWorld....
Well, who's to say your predictions better then mine?
