So refreshing to have a player like him on the team -- it's been a while since we've had players whose love of the game was apparent on every down. The great Redskins teams had them -- Darrell Green, Dave Butz, Neil Olkewicz, Monte Coleman (London Fletcher reminds me of him a great deal), Don Warren, all of the Hogs, Art Monk, Riggo, Jim Lachey, -- those guys would have played for the love of the game and affection for each other. Our current team is starting to shape up like that too, and good things flow from it. |

Re: Kudos to Alfred Morris
I don't know how much Morris is making as a 6th rounder. But whatever it is, Snyder needs to tear up his rookie deal and give him a long term deal. What's not to like about Morris? Hard working, humble, lunch pale type of guy.So glad he's a Skin.

So much leg power from such a small person.... That dude is an animal on the field. If I ever needed my car towed and had no way to do it I'd hook up to Al-Mo and watch him dig in a drag the car like a toy train.

He was officially signed by the Redskins to a four-year, $2.22 million contract with a $154,000 signing bonus.

Alfred Morris runs the ball, not his mouth, for the Washington Redskins - The Washington Post
Quote:
2. Griffin's comment just shows his leadership - It's the big time, in the big game and the superstar is looking at you AlMo and putting his statement game in your hands. I bet Morris would have run through a row of brick walls in the middle of a burning building after that. 3. Way to take it home Morris. You deserve every bit of praise you get.

I felt the same thing. However, I have a feeling that once the Morris jerseys start showing up all over FedEx stadium that he will start (quietly) feeling just fine! Alf-Mo! Alf-Mo!

Or we go with one of his college nicknames - "A-Train" and get a bunch of air horns going every time he touches the ball.

Air horns would be neat & old school if the NFL will allow them in stadiums. Big runs and TD's ='s the HORN!

Re: Kudos to Alfred Morris
It's too bad he doesn't drive an old VW versus the Nissan..... Could become the Bio Diesel, the second coming of the original Diesel. He reminds alot of Riggins. Just relentless power and never stops. Love his drive, his legs are always going.
