good stuff, but there is Don Banks stating 3 first rounders for the 2nd spot. Usually not a big fan of Banks, kinda a reason why. I expect a journalist to know its not 3 first round picks.

Its two first rounders, a second, and a swap of 1st rounders this year. St Louis is not gaining 3 first rounders and we are not losing 3 first rounders. Thats the way I see it.

You are correct that it is two first rounders and a second rounder NET.

But most literally, we are giving them 3 first rounders and a second, they are giving us a first. Paperwork filed with the league will show us giving up 3 firsts.

If i had a nickel for every time someone "explains" the deal for the number 2 pick, I think Id have more than the 540 million dollar jackpot. We gave them THREE, count em 3!! first round picks for the rights to the number two pick in this years draft (with RG3, this numero dos picko is like a number one pick any other year other than this year......).

Its just semantics..........who cares how people report on it. Everyone has an agenda, everyone wants to get their points across. So for one journalist, on Monday of next week, he is saying its 2 first rounders, but on thursday the next week, to help him prove whatever point he is trying to make, it behooves him to report the deal as 3 first rounders. All I know is that RG3 is gonna be a redskin, and i have never been as excited as this as a redskins fan for one prospect!!!!!!!

It kinda is. A first round pick this year, a first round pick next year, and a first round pick the year after that = 3 first rounders. Sure the 2nd overall pick cancels this years' first out, but we still had to give it up in the deal. He's not talking about net picks lost, he's talking about the parameters of the deal.

Fact, we gave up 3 first rounders and a 2nd rounder in exchange for the 2nd overall.

Anyone else watching McNugget on ESPN First Take. He comes off quite bitter imo. He said Skins misused him.... So im guessing Minnesota misused him as well lol. He also said RG3 is a bad fit for Washington..

I agree with McNabb. How could Shanahan possibly make use of an extremely intelligent, strong armed, track star?

I used to be a fan of the guy going back to his SU days, not so much anymore. He never takes any responsibility and always passes the buck. Lame.
