Re: 2010 Combine
Bradford's weight gain & healthy shoulder are all he needs to be the #1 pick as Schefter says he'll be. Scouts rate him high in every other area from what I've read.

Re: 2010 Combine
You know where i think Tebow should land. Indy.
Perfect situation for him to learn and grow behind the best QB in football. The guy says all the right things about work ethis and stiving to get better. If I were him I would be begging for a chance to learn from the best in Peyton. Indy needs a backup and Tebow would be a good fit. He gets a chance to sit and learn and if he pans put then The Colts would probably be able to get good value for him if they ever wanted to trade him in a few years. Tebow also doesn't have the pressure of having to ebcome a starter any time soon.

Re: 2010 Combine
Indy or maybe even New England. The silver lining in all of this for Tebow is he will likely go to a good team where he can learn from an established QB and stable coaching staff.

Re: 2010 Combine
I agree. My only worry is that the Jags take him in the 1st round. They're desperate to start selling more tickets and he's a hero in the state of Florida. They've been linked to him for a while. I really hope that doesn't happen. The best chance for him to succeed will be to play behind an established qb for a few years.

Re: 2010 Combine
One thing you can bet on is that he'll do great with the interviews and chalk talk, plus I'm sure his workout numbers will look a good bit better than the other top qbs (i.e. bench press, short shuttle, 40 yard dash). I think he's smart to wait to throw until pro day.

Re: 2010 Combine
Other than the Jags or perhaps the Saints, I don't see any team taking Tebow in the first round. Chances are, he'll be taken by a crappy team in the top of the 2nd.
EDIT - reading some of the other responses, I think NE would actually be perfect fit for Tebow. I hadnt thought of Indy, but I don't think their Caldwell and Moore are creative enough to take advantage of him. We all know Peyton Manning runs the offense there. If Moore called a play that involved Tebow coming on the field, Manning would ignore him. If Moore called a package that required manning to leave the field and Tebow to come in, Manning would just tell him to screw off and not a single player on offense would listen to Moore over Manning. The potential for ugliness is just too great there. Brady, on the other hand, is a company man and does what he's told. Love him or hate him, Belichick is an offensive genius and would find a way to get the most out of Tebow.

Re: 2010 Combine
Last I heard, he was also their offensive coordinator and they always seem to put up alot of points. his offense turned drew bledsoe, tom brady, and matt cassel into stars. sure, bledsoe was a 1st round pick, but he never took buffaloe or dallas to any measure of success. matt cassel looked like an all pro in belichick's offense and looks like total crap in kansas city.
granted, football is a team sport and there are a multitude of external factors that affect every player at every position, but belichick's offense makes QBs look good. He's a football genius. period. just because he had a defensive background before becoming a head coach, doesnt mean he's not a great offensive coach.

Basically Belicheck gets to pick an offensive coordinator. That is the extent of Bellichecks offense. On top of that I can't think of a coach in the modern era that has coordinated both sides of the ball at the pro level. It's like getting an ENT to become a heart surgeon. Offense and Defensive coordinators are highly specialized positions. I mean it's hard enough for a player to switch sides of the ball let alone a coach.

Re: 2010 Combine
The Pats don't techically have an offensive coordinator, but those duties are basically handled by their QB coach Bill O'Brien.
They don't have a defensive coordinator right now either, looks like Belichick is going to handle that role. Patriots will not hire a defensive coordinator, Belichick to expand role - Extra Points - Boston.com |

Re: 2010 Combine
I am willing to bet that LeFevour's stock just dropped dramatically:
from Doug_Farrar twitter Central Michigan QB Dan LeFevour says that he will not throw at the Combine because he wants receivers he's in rhythm with... |
