Who knows what actually happened, but Bruce perhaps telling people what a turd Dan is wouldn't surprise me, nor would his involvement in the turdery. But it all starts with THE DAN. Bring in RR, resurrect Lombardi, it won't matter. We'll never win a SB as long as THE DAN owns the team. He is like Napoleon and Caligula all wrapped up in one. His turdery is the gift that keeps on giving and always will. He is a truly, truly, truly evil human being. Not just misunderstood, not just goodhearted with some flaws, but a true evil shitburger of a human being. |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Smart move, obviously. Potential never equaled production.
In other unsurprising news, no one signed Smith and he retired. Two points on that: 1. Wish the guy well, incredible human being and story. 2. Cutting him was absolutely right move. His agent certainly called all 32(1) teams, and he couldn't even get on as 3rd string backup. We were paying franchise QB money to a guy other teams wouldn't even pay the league minimum. Be so good next year when completely free and clear of mistakes of old for good--or until THE DAN inevitably meddles. |

He could have been great, but like Reuben Foster and Junior Galette...you can't just wait on a guy to get healthy for 3 years without getting on the field, it's a wasted roster spot.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Is the team accidently leaking a new helmet decal? Hmm...

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
I don't think so.
And the numbers look better. That logo belongs on a golf shirt, not a helmet.

@ANONEMouse compared to a lot of the 15,000 name suggestions, even the Washington Bud Lights sounds a bit better....LOL

I think for good money he agrees to be a 2nd or even 3rd stringer. No team should let him be presumptive starter. Even pre-injury 100% healthy he was just an average QB. Great guy, but was just detached from reality thinking anyone would want him to start or even trust him to be primary backup. If he could have made $5M plus to be a backup, something respectable, I bet he takes it, but we again have a player that only Skins were dumb enough to pay big money. Hopefully last of old FO errors we're still paying for. |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Everyone in the franchise that was part of picking Guice royally fucked up. Pretty embarrassing.
https://www.espn.com/college-footbal...-long-law-firm This isn't about our team, but I mean there had to been tons of obvious red flags for a pro team to know about.
