The reasoning to give him the benefit of doubt when he committed crimes even more humorous. This country is truely funny.

Your right...my post was a lil much. Jameis was wrong, I was wrong...but it's just a damn shame you gotta watch everything you say 24/7, even when he's trying to do the right thing in his community.

Do we really have a freedom of speech? It's really a shame

Yes we have "Freedom of Speech" but with it come consequences ,we say it we are knuckle heads but he is a public figure and to some maybe even a hero to look up to.His consequences will be tougher than mine or yours will be.

I read where nobody from the Redskins would be speaking during the Combine. As well as New England, nor New Orleans.

Yeah but I'll give him credit, I read an SI article that basically says he's smarter than he looks. Most people have no idea about his work ethic, they just assume he's a big dumb jock getting by on his athleticism.

But I also believe he enjoys playing the big dumb jock as much as people love putting that stereotype on him. It's a win win, he gets to party as much as he wants and people never expect better out of him because they think he's just a typical frat boy.

Oh its a total brand...That's today athlete. He's tapped in and making serious money in endorsements because of his brand. Guy is a serious beast on the field and stays out of trouble. more power to him

He has never touched a penny of any of his NFL money. It's all invested,he has lived off of endorsements and other employment opportunities.
