Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
One week, one month, three years, it's all selective endpoints anyway.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
I believe the team was awful today. I also think this is the first time all season tebteam has looked completely flat from start to finish. So I'm not going to slit my wrists over it. But what do I know. I'm just a kool-aid drinking apologist

The problem is the bigger picture. We're probably going to look awful three more times the rest of the year. We're probably going to be competitive in five or six more games. We'll probably even win three of them. But some people are going to see progress out of that where there is no progress.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
Indeed, the whole team was flat only today. The coaching, however, has been flat (if flat means woefully outmatched) in all but two games this season. One game was against a guy who's never really coached before (New Orleans) and the other against a pretty bad team (Bucs).

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
Okay, I'll say it without pulling punches. You'd have to be some kind of moron to give Shanahan five full years.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
There's probably more morons here than non-morons. (I'm one too)
I understand the anxiety though. I just don't think anyone could do better with what we have right now.
