With a secondary thats already in trouble. I knew RC was out, if Polo is out and I really hope he is.

I look for JC to pick them to pieces. And I do look for CP to get his yards against this stout run stuffing D-line (up to this point). Until they leave DC with a big ole fashion REDSKIN ass wippen!

I hope you are right bud!!!!! I really would love for JC to get multiple TDs via the air and we score 30+. IF we just can get a solid pass rush on a hurting Big Ben we can do some real damage on MNF!!!!!!!

Are you serious about fred smoot he couldnt cover your grandma. He plays 15 yards off the ball and teams throw at him 75 percent of the time.Skins win 33-17

shhhhhhhhhhh . . . . .were trying to keep smoots liability in coverage a secret. in defense he has been dinged up for a stretch but we just cant afford to not have him man up because of springs being out. remember smoots nickel back talent, nickel back pay playing starting corner. hes done well enough given the circumstances in my opinion.

go skins!!

Skins 20
Steelers 17

JC has another 300 yard game with 2+ TD's

and Portis squeeks out 100 yards 1 TD..(portis scores off a screen pass)

we should step up to the occasion at home.i say that cooley and randleel have a big night combining for 3 tds plus suisham will have a field goal for a 24-13 win.remember our redskins are only 10 points away from being undefeated.GO REDSKINS!

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions

I would love to see our passing attack establish itself early. Did everyone hear Zorn's praise for DT, do you think it is for real(as opposed to trying to bluff the Steelers since Moss is hurting), and will this be DT and Davis' game to shine?
I have no idea how the Skins are going to attack the Steelers D.

I HAVE TO WAIT TILL MONDAY ARRRGHHHHH

Obviously, I need a lesson; when in the hell were our colors ever maroon and gold?

Of course I realize that this mistake doesn't prohibit you from a head coaching job.

I reallly can't make a prediction on the score or who will win. I just think it will be close.
The Iggles hadn't allowed a rushing TD or an 100 yard game until CP came to town!

Steelers: 17
Redskins: 24

Just those types of games we been playing all year. I don't think portis will run for over 100 yds though, but look for JC to have a good game with the depleted Steelers secondary.

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions

Depends on what game we bring, if it's the game we brought against Dallas we will win, if it is the game we brought against the Rams, we will lose. Other than the season opener, Zorn has been successful in big games, and I believe it will continue tomorrow.
Redskins 16
Steelers 14

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers predictions

The more redskins comments I read, the more I get worried.
Almost every comment mentioned by anyone in the Skins org includes a mention of either the Redskins injuries or the bye.

Injuries that concern me, Springs, Samuels, Taylor, Moss....
Those our our top players folks..thats a tall order....not to mention the team may be looking forward to the bye too much.

If the Skins dont attack this game with an "all or nothing" attitude, they aren't going to win it. If the Skins win...they will be 7-2 and capable of handling a couple NFC east losses....if they lose...6-3 aint terrific going into a couple of NFC east rivalry games that would be easy to lose.

This Steelers game is a statement game.
Winning here with all these injuries would be HUGE....
I hate to be a doubter but the number 1 Defense is going to be a monster test for Zorn to stick with the run, and for Campbell to know when to take a sack.
I will be watching though my fingers when the Skins have the ball...especially if Moss and Samuels are out.
