Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl week.

Vic Carucci tweeted this the other day saying that Ray Rice and Matt Birk would be wearing these special helmets at the Super Bowl. I find it hard to believe.

Geez is there even any padding in that helmet? Looks like they'd shatter on impact.

I like this guy a lot.

LOL. It's just a clear helmet. You can see the padding if you look closely. (it's black)

Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl week.

Ray Lewis began his career by sacking Jim Harbaugh so it'll be fitting with him sacking his 49ers to end his career. Ravens win.

Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl week.

Pregame presser with Lewis

Shannon Sharpe asks Lewis what he would say to the families of the slain men:
Lewis' reply -
"God has never made a mistake. That’s just who He is, you see. And if our system – it’s the sad thing about our system – if our system took the time to really investigate what happened 13 years ago, maybe they would have got to the bottom line truth. But the saddest thing ever was that a man looked me in my face and told me, ‘We know you didn’t do this, but you’re going down for it anyway.’ To the family, if you knew, if you really knew the way God works, he don’t use people who commits anything like that for His glory. No way. It’s the total opposite."

Maybe if someone hadn't obstructed the investigation, and helped instead, then maybe the system could have worked better. ya think??? what self-righteous, and wrong on so many levels, answer.

Cutting a 2nd rounder that soon has to be disheartening, but it needed to happen. It really is sad how it turned out, especially after watching this.

How can he be so caring and compassionate in regards to youth and family, yet act like a total douche bag to his team.

Similar to another lion Suh, off the field you would have difficulty finding a better guy. On the field not so much.

Suh on the field:
Ndamukong Suh Was Voted The NFL’s Dirtiest Player For The Second Year In A Row

Suh off the field:
Ndamukong Suh receives another traffic citation (after the sideswiping incident)

I'm not seeing a lot of difference in Suh on and off the field here.
