STL's Pick.
You think they might be considering dumping Faulk? He is getting a little old, but still has trade value. Just curious, it seems like D Line was more of a concern for them. Well, anything but WR and RB seemed like concerns 8)

I dont see them getting rid of faulk this year. They will use him to tutor their new back for a year, mabye even two. Faulk would be a great mentor to learn how to read defenses.

If for no other reason then their fans would go crazy, they'll give Faulk a year see if he's still got it. A year or so down the orad he may not fit in under the cap.

I hope they dont try to trade Faulk. I think if htey did, one team that would be VERY intersted would be Dallas, and I dont really feel like playing Faulk right now, I still think hes got a couple of good years in him

Yeah, Faulk still has gas in the tank, I just think it was an interesting choice for the Rams.

There is no denying that Faulk is getting old but come on, who is backing him up right now?

Faulk is reputed to never want to come out of games, but this addition should allow Martz to spell his aging star and have him fresh for a playoff run.

I think that Faulk needs a FB rather than time off.

Faulk is 31 and has missed quite a bit of action the last two seasons. Jackson is a RB that Martz just couldn't resist at that spot in the draft. I think Jackson will get a good number of carries this year to help keep Faulk fresh.

this pick was genius... faulk hasn't proved he can shake the injury bug and he's getting up there in terms of age for a RB. the fact that jackson fell so far is only going to keep martz's offensive schemes in tact for a while.

I think that the Rams have built well for the future here. Jackson was an excellent pick up and I do believe that he will have a great mentor in Faulk, but I think I see Jackson starting in the middle of the season.
