Okay, so you were right about Jacobs and Farris...
Farris getting called for offensive interference while sitting on the turf and getting gang-raped was a new one for me. He's so bad he actually incurs penalties by just sitting there.
Jacobs didn't do anything to really piss me off, but he certainly didn't play like a guy with something to prove. John Hall: sayanara, I hope. You've been just good enough to avoid a pink slip but not good enough to really count on since that injury. We should have beaten the Seahawks today. One INT that should have been a TD, a FG that should have gone, and at least two fumbles they coughed up that we didn't get. Anyway, the game and the stat sheet were a lot closer than the score, and they were lucky to get past us. I'm officially cheering for Carolina the rest of the way. And I see the Panthers devouring the Hawks if they play like they did today against us. |

i think fatigue finally caught up to us. we had a great run, but there will be some changes in the offseason.

Re: Okay, so you were right about Jacobs and Farris...
I honestly don't give a turd about anybody that's left now as long as seattle loses next week cuz with this lucky win they now go up high on my "I hate this team" list. Bring on the Superbowl party and commercials/movie trailers.
I agree fatigue probably was a factor but obviously so was the playcalling today. The injuries to the o-line and lack of a consistent opposite to Moss were pretty big as well. The PI call I can somewhat understand cuz Farris did look to have pushed off on the mlb, but the one call that pissed me off was the no call on the holding job the right tackle for seattle performed on hasselbacks td run. |

What a shame. My interest in seeing those two get some PT was predicated on the notion that they'd be hungry for a chance to shine on a national spotlight and that they have they talent to play. It never occurred to me that they might have a case of Westbrookitis and just lack heart. |

Re: Okay, so you were right about Jacobs and Farris...
Jacobs shows nothing. Chick and the boys brought up Randle El. I'd love to see that. TO could help, then again I'd never condone it unless we'd just won the Superbowl with him. McCardell available? Makes me sad that we have to line Cooley up at WR at times. He's great, don't get me wrong, but if we have ANY #2 WR also we'd improve tremendously as an offense. Randle El plays with passion, but will warrant BIG money.

Re: Okay, so you were right about Jacobs and Farris...
Jacobs makes me sick. I wish they would have left him in Seattle.
And I am so mad at John Hall...missing a 35 yarder in the playoffs is inexcusable. In the 2nd game tonight both kickers were banging in 50 yarders without even hitting all of it. This guy shanks a gimme kick. rediculous...

Re: Okay, so you were right about Jacobs and Farris...
I am one of the people who at the beginning of the season had high hopes for Jacobs finally producing and showing he deserved not only to be on the team but to push for the spot opposite of Moss, but he severly dissapointed/dissapeared this season. So much potential and nothing to show for the 2nd round pick taken to get him when we could have gotten Anquan Boldin (even though I hate F. State guys), Mike Doss, LJ Smith, Osi Umenyiora, Lance Briggs, Jason Whitten, or Nate Burleson. It's time for the team to admit they were wrong and free up the space for someone else to come in and produce. This team has had a rough history of drafting wrs so even though there r some possibly decent ones that might be there when they pick in the 2nd round, I hope the team fills the hole via free agency this year.

Re: Okay, so you were right about Jacobs and Farris...
The problem with Jacobs is that he went to the "wrong" Florida school. Spurrier's last gift!
I gather that he shows some talent in practice, but it doesn't translate to the game. He deserves a second chance - somewhere else. |

Randle El is in no way like Price. He would be a great addition and would also be a great PR solution as well so that we could all stop holding our breath about Brown.

Let's Put It To Rest. Skins Got Beat Straight Up And The Hawks Are Going All The Way. Have Fun Watching The Hawks. I Truly Do Not Understand What The Fans Were Thinking That They Were Going To Beat The Hawks. Get Real.

Re: Okay, so you were right about Jacobs and Farris...
What an enlightening post. Assuming you're a Seattle homer, come to rub it in. Savor the week, because so-called dominant playoff teams don't normally cough up the ball 4 times in a half.
At least not the ones that advance to the next round. |
