I saw hamden play a little the other day for amsterdam, he look's decent and was very accurate, he apparently hurt his hand and left the game, he was on the sidelines with an ice pack in uniform I don't think it was that serious.

i think hasselback would be a great 3rd string guy. he did alright stepping in last year with alot of pressure on him and no o-line help

I think hasselback would be a good qb as well, I think keep Hamdam on the practice squad.

Hasselbeck as our #3 Quarterback sounds pretty good too me. He did decently last year starting some games, and if it came to the point that we needed a number 3, I could at least have some confidence w/ him.

I like Hasselbeck as well. As for Gibran, is there any rule as to how many times you can put someone on the practice squad? Like there is in baseball where you can only send a player down to the minors so many times

My understanding is you can keep only a handfull(like 5 I think) of players on the practice squad, that are signed. Almost aways 1 is a QB. The rest while they play for your practice squad can be picked up by other teams.

i'd prefer a younger qb like hamdan as our 3rd stringer or maybe an undrafted rookie like Robert Kent. hasselback wouldn't be terrible either.

They increased the size of the practice squad this year to 8 players.

Gibb's likes the QB with the big arm, hamden does, hasselback doesn't.

Yeah, I think Hamdan is more of a Gibbs' type qb than Hasselbeck. Hamdan is big and strong. He's also young, so he might turn out to be a nice project for JG and Co.
