did anybody notice that once we were in the playoffs the reskins looked kinda worn out and tired what do you guys think contributed to that and what can they do to prevent it from happening again?

Re: strength and stamina
a lot of it was due to injuries (WR, RG, LDE, minor issues with many others...). They could help it with better depth and less full contact drills during the season.

Re: strength and stamina
i agree, more depth and maybe not putting themselves in a position wher they HAVE to win 5 games in a row to get in the playoffs.that had to be mentally draining

Re: strength and stamina
I don't think it was a case of poor conditioning, injuries caught up with them and the mental drain of the playoff push probably did as well.

Re: strength and stamina
I can understand the stamina thing! I'm done in at work after the first 90 minutes.
Desk job!

Re: strength and stamina
Being in "win or go home" mode for the last 5 games was physically draining on me, I can't imagine what it must have been like for those guys. Add depth, win the games your supposed to win & steal at least a couple games your supposed to lose. That should do it.

Re: strength and stamina
Yeah, I didn't have much skin on my face for about 5 weeks. It was awesome. Let's hope 2006 is just as fun but with better results!

Re: strength and stamina
the tampa bay game was a war, we won by attrition. we made less mistakes( did i just say that?) we still had the game at seattle until the later of 3rd and still could have in the early 4th. but we started to wear down after that when some breaks and calls went against us. we just couldn't push back anymore. but what a year.
