Re: Any Food Network fans?

I've been keeping this to myself for a LOOONG time now. My fiancee got me into this channel about a year ago and before we moved into the new house, I would watch the shit out of that station.

Giada is hot.

Love it. Emeril is the shit, even though he can be annoying, dudes got some skills.

They're some other shows that I catch as well, I just forgot the names. Last summer they had a great series on how to BBQ the right way (charcoal, not gas).

Tell you what though, after watching that shit you get so freaking hungry.

It's like porn.

Yeah, I learned a lot about how to grill the right way from Bobby Flay. I'm such a woman.

I will tell you that I want to smash Rachel Ray's face into her cutting board. Her voice irritates the holy hell out of me.

She is mad annoying... what makes it worse though is she is from my area, so she's on billboards, commericals for local grocery stores, etc. You can't get away from here where I live!

Re: Any Food Network fans?

Good to see some fellow FN fans.

When we went to Vegas last year we ate at Emeril's Delmonico steakhouse in the Venetian, and Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill in Caesar's.

Emeril's was the best meal I've ever had, hands down.

Bobby's was a very close 2nd.

Both dinners set us back about $300 total for each, but it was well worth it.

Re: Any Food Network fans?

There was this girl who'd be at the gym in our apartment building every time when I went down to work out and she'd be watching the Food Network.

It would drive me insane. How can I be expected to get in shape when every night while running on the treadmill I'm learning how to make rasberry chocolate souffle or roast duck, etc.

Re: Any Food Network fans?

I'm a big fan of Food Network. If you like Giada, "Behind the Bash" is awesome; it has added excitement with connections to stars big parties. Besides liking all her shows, I also enjoy "Iron Chef" new and old.... Pretty exotic food. Alton gives good food "technical" insights and history...........
