holy crap Pete Prisco is retarded

He says we will be last in the division and 14th in the league...somehow we got worse after signing better players and better coaches

i just hate how nobody, especially he won't remember this after the redskins prove him wrong

Don't worry, I don't think anyone takes his stuff seriously anymore, non-skins fans too. He's just too off on his predictions and analysis. I didn't even waste my time clicking on that link and all of his stories.

Re: Sportsline Power Rankings

Yet Miami is #5?

Seems like he finds great joy in picking apart the Skins moves and only focusing on the negatives, yet he doesn't mention Culpepper's shredded knee as being a potential problem, and a relatively unproven RB in Ronnie Brown.

And somehow Dallas fixed all their problems with one signing.

Gimme a break. More sour grapes from the media, what a surprise. Also kinda funny how he writes so much on the Skins compared to everyone else, yet all he has to say is negatives.

Re: Sportsline Power Rankings

We should file this little gem away for next year to see how much of an a-hole he looks like then.

Quote:
They spent and spent and spent some more. What else is new? So what did they get? A receiver (Randle-El) who had 35 catches last year, a tight end (Christian Fauria) who won't scare people down the field, a safety (Adam Archuleta) who is a liability in coverage, another receiver (Brandon Lloyd) from a team in need of them yet was willing to trade him and a defensive end (Andre Carter) who has yet to live up to the hype.

Re: Sportsline Power Rankings

WTF is this guy smoking. We didnt pick up Jeff George, Bruce Smith, or Deion Sanders. This is Brandon Lloyd, Antwaan Randle El, Adam Archuleta, and Andre Carter. And oh ya did i forget Clinton Portis, Santana Moss, Chris Cooley, Marcus Washington, and Sean Taylor. And this is not Steve Spurrier or Marty Shottenheimer either. This is Joe Gibbs. And oh ya dare i mention Al Saunders and Greg Williams. CBS stands for Complete Bull $#!T anyways so why do we care.

Prisco doesn't like the Redskins. He's been bashing us for a long while now.

Re: Sportsline Power Rankings

these idiots are acting like we need Randle el, lloyd, arch to be the #1 guys. They also seem to forget Carter is a DE, which the last year he played DE he had 12-13 sacks. He is not a OLB which is what the idiots in San Fran did last year. We have #1 guys in place. These are compliments, pieces to the puzzle. These dudes have got to lay off. I hope we can all look back at this and rip their asses apart during the season.

Re: Sportsline Power Rankings

OK, so let's assume at the very least, we signed players who are average, how can they say we got worse while many of the teams above us signed one or two players and some NONE and are better?

What a douchebag.

Re: Sportsline Power Rankings

I like how he mentions Fauria will not scare teams down the middle. Like thats what we signed him to do. On a positive note we did move up two spots.

I was thinking the exact same thing! Yeah...cause...Fauria is our main receiving threat down the middle of the field. Just like Robert Royal was. But not Cooley. Those 71 catches were a fluke so we signed Fauria as our main pass-catching threat. Not to block. At all.

Right, I supposed he forgot about our Pro Bowl WR, and our Pro Bowl snubbed HB, RB and RG. Yeah, we're going to SUCK.
