Preseason Scrubs
We all know that we usually have the same guys come back and try to desperately make this team. Anyone think that some of them may have a chance this year. A few to mention; Rufus Brown/ CB, Jonathan Combs/ RB, Brock Forsey/ RB, Ron Warner/ DE (CFL at this moment in time), Jimmy Farris/ WR and there are several more. I would be delighted to hear some inputs on this.

Re: Preseason Scrubs
I thought Rufus Brown was gone. Christian Morton or Dimitri Patterson might step up at DB or one of those Canadian RBs they drafted, Lumsden or Carter.

They always cut Rufus Brown but he finds a way to get into training camp.

Re: Preseason Scrubs
He's a WR. And I'm thinking the same thing you are. There isn't room for him here. The guy I'm really keeping an eye on is K Tyler Jones. He could knock Hall out if he does well this summer

Re: Preseason Scrubs
They obviously saw something in Dmitri and Christian last year as both were in games at key times late. Not so much Dmitri I guess. He mopped up against that one team I can't remember what they're called. Ft. Worth or Oak Cliff or something.
I think experience will largely win out in this camp. I think Gibbs and Williams know who their guys are at this point and it's just a matter of getting them ready to go. Special teams will be interesting with kicker and punter.

Re: Preseason Scrubs
Brock Forsey cost me $500.00 bucks with a meaningless touchdown at the end of the Humanitarian Bowl vs Iowa St.
Cut his a$$! Also that Canadian RB Lumsden should be a good ST guy and a back up FB. He isn't an NFL back, but he is a football player.

He's training camp fodder folks. The only reason he saw action last season was that the team was practically roaming the streets of D.C. for wideouts. If he makes it as a 5th wide receiver for any team this season I'll be shocked. And remember, Cliff Russell was fast too. |
