Endzone Turf continues to grow
http://www.imagesculptor.com/thewarpath/endzone2.jpg
Seems a couple of us that were at Draft Day grabbed up a little grass, turf and dirt from the Redskins Endzone. Here's mine growing nicely. New sprigs of grass keep poping up which is very cool. Now I just have to make teeny tiny Redskins templates for spraying endzone graphics on it for Home Games. hahaha peace

Awesome. Yet another reason why grass is so much better than artificial turf!

Endzone Turf Update: July 27, 2004
http://www.imagesculptor.com/thewarpath/endzone3.jpg I should have it ready for endzone paint by opening day of this season. Damn critters broke the Burgundy pot so I had to transplant it. That's some tough turf as it took a pretty hard and long fall and but like our SKINS is getting very big and very strong....VERY QUICKLY. lol peace

It's alive!!!
Hmmm, maybe you should sell decendents of the original FedEx grass. I'm sure there are people willing to buy it.

But I ain't sellin'! This stuff is strictly for personal use. I never got around to planting mine, for some reason. It's still sitting in a cellophane wrapper on top of the TV in my Redskins room. I wonder if there was enough seed in there to get a crop growing? Anyway, everyone who sees it thinks it's a bag of something else, and I always have to explain it. Of course, once you take a good look at it, it's pretty obvious that the red was spray-painted on, and I've never seen a bag of weed with sand and dirt in it! |

SBF got some, and he was kind enough to give me a chunk of it when we met at the Draft Day Party. Thanks, SBF!

You should have seen the look on Joes face when I pulled this "nickle baggie of grass" out of my pocket and reached to hand it to him at FED/EX Field. PRICELESS!
