Re: 8/1 Practice
It's got to be the heat guys. I live near Clarksville TN which is where the Titans are having their training camp at Austin Peay State Univ. and they moved their practice yesterday to 7:30pm, from 3:30pm, because heat indexes were over 105 around here yesterday afternoon.

Re: 8/1 Practice
Thats a smart move with this heat it could only lead to problems. I like how (it seems) that the coaches are trying not to wear down the players while having productive pratices and with the long season could mean alot come the last 1/4 of games when we need it most.

Re: 8/1 Practice
It's brutally hot all over right now. The head index here today is supposed to be 105 degrees. That's ridiculous.

Re: 8/1 Practice
well in texas its 105 degrees here period. the index has hit up to 117*. And my job consist of attic crawling. so i dont have much sympathy. they just have to take magnesium patassium + calcium with water to put back what they are losing. salt tabs dont do much... which is what they are saying on redskins.com

Re: 8/1 Practice
Can you believe that snyder is giving away water at $2 a bottle?!?!?
He doesn't need to make a huge profit from the fans. jerk-off. I was dying but i hate spending so much at events on drinks and food. This is fans coming out to see the team. He doesn't need to wait till someone passes out in the heat to lower the prices. It doesn't cost him anywhere near $2 for that water so he doesn't have to be a d-bag. I was so hot and had hot water. |
