seven second delay on redskins raido

Does anyone know what is up with the seven second delay on the raido? Last year when I watched the games I would turn the volume down on the tv and listen to the raido guys call the game. It looks like I won't be able to do that this year.

Bummer

I am sure it was a production glitch. The stations probably all run on 7 second delays nromally and that didn't get turned off. I am sure it will get worked out. Danny is too smart to let that happen. Too much lost marketing opportunity.

I hope so. I was listening to the game in my car and I just noticed the fine print voice saying " due to FCC regulations this game is being broadcast with a seven second delay"

Re: seven second delay on redskins raido

If you think that is bad, try listening online. There was like an 80 second delay. Instead of listening to Sonny slurring his words by the 3rd quarter, I had to listen to Madden going on about Favre's favorite chili dog...

Re: seven second delay on redskins raido

I live in Calif and must admit I take it to an extreme, but I finally got around the delay AND can listen to Sonny and Sam argue again. For the first time since I moved here, I got a true simulcast. Granted it took Sirius satellie and tivo, but I was able get it synched in about 2-3 plays as they're both on different delays. Doesn't really help you, but I had to tell someone that I'm now in hog heaven and that it is possible! The best part of all I don't have to listen to Bill Maas any longer.
