Frank Gore has a STARTING job...
OFFICIAL SITE OF THE 49ERS
Looks like the niners are happy with Mr. Gore... When Portis was on NFL Total Access he said that Gore would be the breakout player this year...

Re: Frank Gore has a STARTING job...
He had a strong finish last year, I'm glad I got him in one of my fantasy leagues

I like guys from the U except Shockey. I like the fact we have several on our team. Washington Hurricanes doesn't sound good though.

Re: Frank Gore has a STARTING job...
Gore getting the starting role should have came earlier. I would have liked to have seen Barlow to up the Jets running total another 80+yards last nite.

Man, my co-worker is pitching a bitch right around now. He's a 49er's fan and has Kevan Barlow on his screen saver. When I get to work tommorrow, he'll mention the loss to the Jets and I'll mention his bigger loss of Barlow.

Re: Frank Gore has a STARTING job...
Gore was supposed to be better than Portis or McGahee. He averaged 10 yards a carry his first year. But he tore his knees up more than once... I hope hes knees hold up

Re: Frank Gore has a STARTING job...
He also tore up BOTH knees, and his Wonderlic scores were legendarily low. Like "he might need help reading the playbook" low.
Of course we're talking about the Niners here, so take it all with a grain of salt. |

Re: Frank Gore has a STARTING job...
Barlow didn't help the Niners much for the last few years. He'll be of even less benefit to the Jets.
Non-story here. It's a desperation move like the signing of Ramsey. |

Re: Frank Gore has a STARTING job...
the 49ers fan on here last year when we played them had ALREADY declared him their starter for 2007. so i wouldn't say it's a big surprise. and yeah, i have him in nearly every one of my leagues. mike bell might be a better pickup though.
i don't think he'll put up dante hall/wes welker type numbers though (in leagues with 1 point per reception that also count return yardage). |
