Current Preseason Records

Just a few key ones....

Oakland: 4-0
Houston: 2-0
Cleveland: 2-1
Washington: 0-3
Pittsburgh: 0-3
Seattle: 1-2
Indianapolis: 1-2

Does anyone actually believe that Oakland, Houston and Cleveland are going to be playing in January and that Washington, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Indy are all going to be at home?

Granted, none of them have sucked as badly as the Skins have, but....

I'm brushing this pre-season off my shoulders. If 41-0 happened on Sept 11th then we'd be in bad shape. It's preseason and the goal is to get ready for the reg season. The goal is not to win, look good, entertain, etc. Hakuna Matata folks.

Re: Current Preseason Records

Last year we were a playoff team, in the divisional round. We also lost in the regular season 36-0.

I'm concerned after regular season WINS. Preseason losses don't bother me that much.

Re: Current Preseason Records

It's not how we lose, it's how we play the game.

Have you watched Houston or Oakland? They're starters have put up points. More than we can say.

Exactly, and teams that have a losing preseason record, still are putting up points, and not letting teams blow them out.

Re: Current Preseason Records

Like I said before, just because one is worried does not make them a lesser fan. Just because some people are realistic, doesn't mean we need to hate.

EXACTLY! The records mean absolutley nothing, I dont care if we win another preseason game the rest of the time that I'm on this planet, its not the wins/losses that mean anything to me. I'm just REALLY hating how our first team is playing offensivley (and latley defensivley for that matter). I know we played kinda crappy last preaseason too, and I'm not ready to duck and cover or anything, but I can't say that I'm not concerned.

PS: When you're looking at the preseason records, look at everyons points for/Points against....ironically were the worst in both...again, its not about the wins losses, but the stats that have me a little concerned.
