Favre Looks Woeful

In three possessions, he has fumbled for a cincy touchdown, thrown one int and had another int dropped by the defender. After 28 int's last year is Brett done?

Yeah I was just about to make a thread about this, he looks terrible. His first turnover was just terrible, but his second one was not his fault, it was Driver's. And some of the other crappy passes are because his O-line sucks.

I thought that second one was Driver's fault too until I saw the replay. The ball was thrown too high and beyond him, he barely had a chance to catch it.

Yeah true, I mean he kinda took a sideways jump, so he did not take a high leap. But you are right, because I saw Farve release it under pressure, so I am almost positive that had an effect on how high Farve threw it.

Re: Favre Looks Woeful

Regardless, Favre should've probably hung up the cleats last season.

On a side note, I can't even look at the TV when Suzy Kolber comes on without having flashbacks to this gem...

Re: Favre Looks Woeful

I'm torn because I love Favre and I love the "gunslinger" mentality that seems to be missing from most NFL QB's anymore but he just doesn't seem to have "it" anymore. Its sad to see, but I understand why he came back...he doesn't want to go out on a punk ass year like last year. I wish him well, but I think he should have retired.

Pretty good actually, took a couple hits, also one to around the left knee, and he looks good. He actually took off and ran for like 10-15 yards, the crowd was yelling for him to get down.

Glad to hear that. I think Palmer is a really classy QB and wish him the best. If He didn't go down they might have beat Pitt. Thanks hooskins.

palmer looks really good after that last TD drive... almost like he never missed a step from last season.

Re: Favre Looks Woeful

Palmer looks phenomenal. No drop off from last season that I can see. Wish we had him...I think he is one of the best 3 qb's in the league (Brady, Manning) and has the physical tools to be the undisputed best. Seems like a legitimately nice guy too.

Re: Favre Looks Woeful

Wow they brought chili up to Kornheiser and J.T. in MNF, I am sure Madden is drooling right now.
