New Poll

Not sure how to start a poll, but as we get closer to the start of the season, I think it would be appropriate to have a poll on who will be the teammate Matt Bowen will knock out this year?

Hopefully Bowen will make contact with opposing players this year. And maybe, though it might be asking too much, he could even do it in regular season play. The bozo.

But seriously, I'm giving Bozo one more year to live up to all the great things that were said about him when he was brought in here. After all, strong safety is supposedly his preferred position.

One thing's for sure though, he won't have Trung Canidate to kick around anymore.

I say he will try to nail cooley, but in doing so, cooley will make a name for himself, by leveling him! :thumb:

I think he might end up just hitting the bench pretty hard. We'll see if he even wins the starting role. He should play special teams no matter what and level a returner everygame.

Seriously this fool is confused. He knocked out our own guys, but never had any big hits against opposing teams. I think that Ohalete is gonna beat him out. I wasn't very impressed by him at all. But maybe the switch to strong safety will improve his play.

Ohalete certainly had bigger plays and at times looked better than Bowen. Knocking out Canidate is not that difficult.

I see Bowen and Iffy as neck and neck. Neither are overly impressive, both are average safeties with their own limitations. Too bad we can't combine both of their skills, then we might have a pretty good safety.

I'm betting on Bowen to win the free safety spot only because that's his natural spot, but it should be a tight competition and regardless of who wins the starting job both guys will probably see a significant amount of playing time.

Just to add, kinda funny how we all drooled over the hit on Canidate last preseason now it's no big deal.

I like that he goes 100 mph in practice but his act got tired real quick. Hopefully someone will lay a nasty lick on him this time around in camp.

At some point he'll put a nice spear right on Lavar's right knee. We all know this is the kind of thing that will happen. Come on we're half through the first decade of the 21st century so we've been living with redskins luck for going on 15 years soon. That kind of stuff doesn't just magically dissipate. We may need a good two or three Gibb's years just to excercise out the Norv years, then we still got the Marty and Spurrier campaigns. Oiy!

you mean him winning strong safety right? He played free safety last year but thats not his normal spot, strong safety is. Id liek to assume that Taylor wins the free safety spot.

See that? He doesn't even know Bowen's natural position...and you want to change your vote to him in the moderator poll?!?

He should have been fired for even touching Smoot plus he gave Keyshawn his greatest highlight reel of the year
