Trash Talking w/ your Boss
Has anyone done it? My manager and our VP are football fans (one Bears, the other Seahawks) and they have mail flying across the office…I was thinking of interject and throwing a Redskins jab…is that a bad idea?

it depends on the person. Some people can take it and others cant.

I say no. Let them tear each other up.
Sit and laugh as we win.

Re: Trash Talking w/ your Boss
The CEO at my work is a Raiders fan. He has vulgar names for the Skins and says thing to me like "Sorry about Portis" (after the tackle)...but being a Raiders fan, he can't say too much. We go back and forth sometimes but it's always friendly.

Re: Trash Talking w/ your Boss
I would be careful you never know how people take things. I had a friend who was from TX and he and his parents where big Dallas fans but they where very nice people. One night I was over their house and everything was fine and at half time Dallas had us down by like 20 points and I had to go home. The skins cam back to win the game so I called over to there house right after the game because I knew they where up. Man they where nasty people yelling at me for calling so late and cursing me over the phone. The next day my friend sad sorry and that his parents did not take losing to good and it takes 2 to 3 days for them to get over it. So I never talked football to them again. I lived across the street so whenever we beat them I would hang a skins flag out my window for a few days so they would have to look at it coming and going. My buddy said it pissed them off and they would yell at him for being my friend.
