How do you pay a bill for 40yrs and not know what you are paying for? The funny thing was that the phones have been working all of that time. I guess the Co. should have given her a call and talked her out of the lease.

My mother in law just found out that she was paying aol $29/month for over 6 years for her son's old email account. If you never call them, it never gets cancelled.
I think the lady could buy a standard phone for $9.95. I'm sure you can buy a classic rotary somewhere. |

i'm gonna say no...only reason I know is because my grandparents had one and I had used it growing up...but i can imagine people slightly younger than I am not knowing how to use the old rotary.
