ESPN.com - GEN - High school star experiences 'beetle'-mania

I really have no idea why this story was on espn.com. It must be a slow news since seeing as T.O. hasn't tried to rob a bank or fallen off the crapper.
But it did remind me of a very Seinfeld-esque sotry my buddy told me last week.

He said he woke up one morning and his ear was hurting and itching a lot but he had to ignore it because his fiancé's grandmother was very sick in the hospital and they had to be with her because things were looking pretty grim. So as he's sitting there in the room with her whole family all he can think about it is his ear. He's digging around in it with his finger (and probably the arm of his glasses, but that's just my guess) when all of a sudden he noticed some little legs stuck to the tip of his finger. He had to tell his fiancé that he had to run out for a minute and she was pissed because the grandmother was about to go at any minute, but he insisted and left. He walked down to the ER because he finally realized there was some sort of a bug in his ear, and like this kid, it was probably eatting his ear drum or something crazy. So has he's waiting for the doctor he's still poking around in there with his fingers when he finally feels something sort of shift and get loose. He tilts his head to the side and shakes it and out rolls a dead silverfish. Gross!
So eventually the doc looks at his ear and says he's fine and he runs back upstairs to grieve with his girl because the worst had happened.
I guess you have to also realize that my buddy is a lot like George from Seinfeld to really appreciate the story.

So, do your ears itch yet?

That's quite a story AMD. Listening to the radio this morning, some reporter stumbled across the words and said "a high school kid had a close encounter with incest this morning...blah blah blah...sorry that's insects, not incest"

Kid put up some numbers in the game, though - 362 yards on 33 carries with 5 TDs?

EDIT: not sure where the first part of my post went, but, in essence, I don't think I'll be sleeping well tonight...
