**Please read** Thread hijacking
Hey everyone, threads being overrun and hijacked with off-topic stuff seems to becoming a bigger problem lately.
I'm going to ask that we please stay on topic as much as possible. We have the Parking Lot for all off-topic discussions, but here in the Locker Room let's stay focused and talk Redskins & football. Please stay on topic as much as possible. Thanks -TheWarpath.net Staff- |

Re: **Please read** Thread hijacking
Just want to say that I appreciate the staff's efforts to keep these boards clean like they've always been. I think it would be a sad day to see the Warpath end up with hijacked threads all over the place like over at ES, and it's nice to see efforts continuing to keep this place top notch.

Re: **Please read** Thread hijacking
Yeah we have been getting quite off topic lately. Seems to have gotten somewhat stale in the Skins discussion around here lately. We need to get into some good discussions. When we lose we have lots to talks about. I think a lot of us don't like posting a lot about how great we are. And since we are playing somewhat well lately it cuts down on the Skins stuff.

Wow -- does that mean Malcolm and Tafkas won't be posting for a while?

Are you freaking serious? It is a goddamn forum, and is kinda the part of it. Geez, what happened someone's feelings got hurt? Boo hoo, we are adults here, so what if someone hijacks a thread, grow the F up, it is a freaking thread, not the end of the world. I for one think this is just ridiculous.

Re: **Please read** Thread hijacking
I'm happy talking football all day long. If you guys want to chat about somethint other than football, we can always IM outside of the Warpath. But I do think this was all taken a bit too seriously over something that was totally harmless.

Re: **Please read** Thread hijacking
What was the reason this thread was posted Matty? Is there a particular incident that upset someone recently that brought this issue up, was it just general complaints, or what it something you noticed? Just wondering.

It's really not that hard. You want to go back and forth with people about off-topic stuff, no problem, do it in the off-topic forum. Not in the locker room.

Re: **Please read** Thread hijacking
I can't speak for Matty, but my sense is nobody is mad that locker room threads got hijacked. I suspect Matty is just reminding us all to keep these boards more organized. Talk Redskins in the Locker Room, and talk other stuff in the Parking Lot. No big deal. Nobody's in trouble and nobody is getting SBF'd.

If someone posts a thread saying something like "Joe Gibbs says he'll retire at the end of the season" I doubt it's going to get hijacked right away because that is something worthy of being talked about. BUT, when there is yet another thread about LaVar or something like that and it goes on for 10 pages, half of which say crap like "lavar is out of shape and overrated," I see no problem having fun with it.
