The Titans Are Coming
Time to move on from the Giant let down. Any one who thought that was a gim'me game, especial since they were coming out of a bye week, is nuts. Lets move on folks.
The Titans are coming to town which is a good thing when you consider who we play after them (the Colts coming off of their bye week). I'm not saying the Titans are a push over team but this game is certainly winnable and game we must win to keep the playoff hopes alive. Vince Young had a decent game against the Colts and he seems to be improving. He is no McNabb but he will be all they got. We'll need to contain him. The pass rush needs to improve and GW needs to confuse the hell out of him in passing situations. This is a great opportunity for the defense to redeem itself. On offense, we show some consistency. The play call has been erratic to say the least. Saunders will have his hands full because that Titans defense played beyond expectation against the Colts. I'd like to see us go into the game with attack mentality which was nonexistent against the Giants.

Re: The Titans Are Coming
I just hope we don't get caught looking ahead to Week 7. The Titans are bad but not terrible. Common statement again this week will be that our CB's have got to step up. If we can get the Run D to force Young into more passing situations then maybe the secondary will have the chance to make some long-awaited-for plays.

Re: The Titans Are Coming
This game, like any other game, is NOT one to take lightly.
Not sure what happened to the Colts that they kinda had to fight the Titans a little to win...they should have been able to stomp em. The Skins defense (namely the secondary) has got to PLAY FOOTBALL. Carlos Rogers has to stop dropping interceptions. Adam Archueleta...please smash SOMEBODY in the mouth. If they can get a couple of takeaways next week and drill Vince a couple of times, the Skins should be okay against the Titans. And wouldn't it be nice to see Cooley get some passes and actually run like hell toward the endzone? |

Re: The Titans Are Coming
colts got caught in a trap i think. we should hang a ton on these guys. if we can't win this one, we do have problems. we already gave up a winnable game that we shouldn't have to minnesota at home.

Re: The Titans Are Coming
the colts have looked pretty bad except for one game this year so I don't think last weeks game is a good measure of the Titans. The Titans could beat the Skins but this is a game like against the Texans that should help the Skins get back on track on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

Re: The Titans Are Coming
The Titans are coming to play. I have nothing to lose at this point, so they're just going to come out and probably loosen their game up a bit. This is one of those games where the Redskins need to jump on top early and put 'em away early.
