It's all over the news here in NY, but it was definitely an accident. It was a small single engine plane that was out of control. So far there has been two confirmed dead.

I doubt it was a suicide. He apparently called out a may day distress signal that he was having fuel issues

It wasn't a suicide, he was having problems with the plane.
RIP Cory, that's a huge loss not only for the Yankees but also his family.

As a Yankee fan, I'd like to give my condolences to the Lidle family.
To think our biggest worry was whether Torre would stay or go a few days ago and life slaps you right in the face. |
