Give Thrash and Lloyd props as well.
Lloyd had an amazing block on the CP run. And a couple of passes called back bc of bogus calls. He drew a couple pass interferences.
Thrash had about 2-3 big catches as well. One of the major questions were, if the other recievers would step up with the loss of Moss, but they both showed up.

and even though it wasn't in the passing game except when he threw the ball that lead to the big pass interference on Roy Williams, ARE also did a great job on punt returns and getting the Skins good field position.

What gets me is the appsence of Patten. My God man, the last time I saw him was in the jax when he ran to congratulate S. Moss for that walk-off td. He looked great doing that, I gusess he got hurt in practice.

Agreed. Good game for them both. I was a little worried after hearing Vincent talk after the game. He was talking about how the players are all upset with the coaches and play calling up until today and he (Vincent) was trying to get them all to relax and just play football. Looks like Saunders might just be the reason we are where we are - mentally for the team, it hasn't been a good thing.

I didn't get to see vincent, but Ive wondered that (among alot of other things) as well... if changing up all they had accomplished has rubbed the players the wrong way, or if there's an ego issue between saunders and the players...

Vincent was quite clear that he noticed the bad blood and that the players were upset with the coaches. Has to be Saunders new O.

Re: Give Thrash and Lloyd props as well.
back to the subj. of the thread...
I've always liked thrash and he's an excellent STer, and he's usually been pretty clutch when we need him. Since Lloyd started writing his blog in training camp, I really liked him. ARE too. I never quite understood why everyone called signing him a mistake... he just doesn't get looks. I just hope now that Brunell knows other recievers will make plays when he looks their direction, moss will come back soon and open things up for our offense more. Lloyd shows enthusiasm and heart when he plays... on that missed int he knocked the shit out of williams...

Re: Give Thrash and Lloyd props as well.
lloyd and thrash were players today. im the most impressed with thrash though, sitting the bench on offense most of the season then making huge catches. a true 'gibbs guy' or 'character guy'
