Wanga Skin's Holiday Special Poll

It's that time of year when we get to see all those classic Christmas cartoons.

So which one is your favorite? Mad respect for a Peanuts Christmas, but I'm all about Frosty the Snowman.

Olive the Other Reindeer is kind of a sleeper, but not a classic

What about Ted Turner's favorite movie of all time... A Christmas Story?

From that list, I'd have to go with Rudolph, though. That stop motion animation creeped me out when I was a kid, but it's a classic.

A Christmas Story was the absolute best movie ever... I always wondered what the palmolive bar soap (the big red shiny bar) tasted like...

I used to shoot at trees with my bb gun and go hunting for bad bart like the kid on TV...

That is the best christmas movie ever...

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is a close second...

"Put it over there with the others, Greaseball"

F'in classic...

The big red shiny bar soap was Life Buoy...the last 3 Christmases, I've gone to bed with that movie on, and just happen to wake up the next morning at just about the point I left off the night before (thank you TBS for showing it for 24 hours straight).

and Brud...bring it on. My kidneys could use a good punchin'.

I'm pretty sure the second one was around Christmas time also. The scene that sticks out in my mind from that one is the icicle in the eyeball.

The problem I always had with that line was that he first says it in German, both of the bad guys native tongues. His buddy looks at him like "What the hell does "shutzen zie fenster" mean?" So Hans rolls his eyes and says in English "Shoot...the....glass". It just didn't make sense to me.

Re: Wanga Skin's Holiday Special Poll

Which one of those Rudolph movies has Mr. Heat Miser in it?

My husband walks around singing that song during the holidays. It gets to be annoying after awhile. Especially since he doesn't know all the lyrics.

I'm Mister Green Christmas
I'm Mister Sun
I'm Mister Heat Blister
I'm Mister Hundred and One
They call me Heat Miser,
What ever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch
I'm too much!

He's Mister Green Christmas
He's Mister Sun
He's Mister Heat Blister
He's Mister Hundred and One

They call me Heat Miser,
What ever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch

He's too much!

Thank you!
I never want to see a day
That's under sixty degrees
I'd rather have it eighty,
Ninety, one hundred degrees!
(spoken)
Oh, some like it hot, but I like it
REALLY hot! Hee hee!

He's Mister Green Christmas
He's Mister Sun

Sing it!

He's Mister Heat Blister
He's Mister Hundred and One

They call me Heat Miser,
What ever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch
I'm too much!
Too Much!

Re: Wanga Skin's Holiday Special Poll

"A Christmas Story", definitely has to be my favorite holiday program. But, since you are only talking about cartoons, I'll have to say The Grinch.
