Did anyone watch the match between V. Williams and Sprem....The judge accidentally gave Sprem an extra point during a second set tie break, which Sprem eventually won (and the match)...It was the first time that a judge miscounted the points. It was a strange situation because both players new something wasn't right, the off court judges must have seen it...and nobody said anything...

Venus, when asked what had happened, realized that there was an extra point given...She was very professional about it though, probably because she knew she deserved to lose that match.

Venus probably would have lost anyway

The umpire will not be doing any more Wimbeldon matches this year.

this sparked a top 10 thing on sportscenter last night about blown calls and they messed up big time with the order cuz getting robbed by the refs versus the soviet union was the biggest robbery in the history of sports. I think they got it right with the 5 downs for colorado right at # 2 I think it was, but the play caused by that punk who's name needs no mentioning in the orioles/yankees game should have been somewhere around #3 or 4. But in the group that didn't make the list they didn't even mention the 2 botched calls last year against the skins: the stephen davis "td"/fumble and the obvious td catch by hasselback. I know those weren't during what non-redskin fans would call important games, but that game against carolina meant more than most of the other games last year. atleast to me, lol.
