Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
it's kinda hard for us to tell whether or not he's ready after 3 games. Wait until the end of the season, we'll have a clearer picture of whether or not he's ready. I don't see anything wrong with him right out of the bat, so if I had to guess i'd say he is definitely our qb of the future.

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
i think by the end of the season we should know alot more about campbell, and if he is going to make it in this league. thats why i hope the skins keep adding more and more if the offense every game

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
I think the game experience is crucial but the best test is the offseason. He will go into next season as the starter. The team knows this and it will be key to see the relationships he develops with the players and coaches. It will be good to see how handles the pressure of the job. I think after a few games next season we will see how things will run under Mr. Campbell.

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
There's a developmental process that must take place before any predictions can be determined. I don't expect him to look like a seasoned QB even starting next season, but I do hope to see signs of progress. I'm getting ready to go see him play right now.

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
I think a deciding factor for any young QB is how well he can read defenses and how fast he can break the habit of not staring down the receiver he wants to throw to. I think those two aspects are key and if Campbell can pick up on those things rather quickly, then he'll be ready to go.

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
the way the snyder era has progressed I would not be surprised one bit if campbell was not the starter next yr,it wouldnt surprise me if brunell was here next yr,gibbs says campbell will be the starter, brunell will be backup, but first game, campbell gets sacked hard, brunell goes in,campbell doesnt see the field again till brunell has run the team into the ground

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
I don't care if Ade Jimoh is playing quarterback for us, as long as we win games that is all that really matters to me. If Brunell can come back in and lead us to victory -- great. If Campbell can -- great! If Heath Shuler can come back lead us to victory -- great! I don't care, it's the team I want see winning no matter who's behind center.

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
Gibbs recently gave JC his endorsement as being the QB they are going to build around.

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
Hopefully we are looking at the Redskins QB for the next 10 years. He's shown the most promise, poise and talent at the position than any young Redskins QB in my time as a fan. Ideal case would be a 3-1 finish with a positive QB-INT ratio. Going into next year he needs to become a playmaker rather than the caretaker we had for most of the season in Brunell. If he becomes a playoff QB next season it will be a major accomplishment.

He is going to need a full off season and a full season next year. Judge him after the end of next year.

I dont think JC needs a timetable, he just needs to keep getting better each week and if he does that we will all be very happy. |

Re: Jason Campbell..What's his time table?
Gibbs didn't give up multiple picks in a draft to take Ramsey, and I really doubt Gibbs ever told Ramsey he was committed to building the team around him.
