24 - holy crap!
SPOILER ALERT!!
If you haven't watched the second hour of Monday night's episodes, don't scroll down. Jack killed Curtis! WTF? And they actually detonated a nuclear bomb? Wow, that's the way to start a season!

Re: 24 - holy crap!
The only two episodes that I've ever watched were last night's two hour and tonight's two hour....I'm hooked. I guess I'll rent the season DVD's.

Re: 24 - holy crap!
Curtis is my favorite f...ing character after jack. OMFG. This is the best show in the world. I had heard the ending was jaw dropping but man. The last ten minutes!!! 4 more nukes? This season is going to be as good as the rest.
CUrtis is dead!! WHY? I don't care for any of the other characters. Jack killed him. Jack's character is by far the most deep and interesting character in the history of television. His character has actually progressed every season and he has become a shell of the man he was. Every season he does things and things happen to him and you can just see and feel his pain. Killing curtis hurt him so bad. Just seeing him crawling, crying, and vomiting you could feel for him. So many things have happened to him. How many are dead from the bomb? My mind is blown. So many things happened. I love this show. I've seen it since the very beginning and have all the seasons. Bauer in my username comes from jack. |

YOu will appreciate the show so much more once you see the other seasons. The first two seasons are amazing. It feels as if you don't need to watch the other seasons to watch this one but to truly appreciate it you will need to see the rest. I envy those that haven't seen those seasons yet because they can experience the best parts of the show for the first time. |

I would skip seasons 3-4, though. It kind of gets a little tired, and you can read up on the pertinent plot twists online. Last season was really good, though.

This may have been posted already, but some of these are great (the number to the left is the "rating" out of 4). Shamelessly stolen from here.

Re: 24 - holy crap!
I've only ever watched one season before (season four, I think) and a little more than half way through the season I realized that I absolutely hated it, but I stuck with it until the end anyway. The season finale of that year made me swear off the show forever because I just hated every minute of it.
But, I'm not known for having a ton of will power, so after taking a season off I decided to give 24 another try. I didn't really like Sunday's episodes and I pretty much stopped paying attention half way through the season episode. I told myself that if I didn't like the show anymore after last night's episodes I wouldn't watch anymore of the show. Well, after the second episode last night it looks like I'll be sticking with the show for a little while. Now, hopefully Jack will shoot Chloe in the face and I can really enjoy the show.

And OMFG was that crazy! I just hope this isn't the 'Jump the Shark' moment for the show. There's not a whole hell of a lot of places to go with the show now that a nuke has actually gone off. |

Re: 24 - holy crap!
I know I'm new to watching but one thought I had was that Curtis isn't confirmed dead. It shows him slumping to the ground with EMT hovering around. Looks like a possible new enemy for Jack...

Re: 24 - holy crap!
I agree Curtis is still around. 24 is a awesome show no doubt. I have found that the first four hours and last hour seem to be the best part. I think they try to hook you then drag it out to keep you tuned.
