Re: Anyone heard this?

He made some interesting comments

"I think people love me as much as they love Michael, the fans who understand the game," Pippen said. "The GMs, the coaches — I think they'd rather have a Scottie than a Michael."

"Because I'm an all-around player," he said. "I make people around me better."

Re: Anyone heard this?

He's conveniently forgetting what a disappointment he was as a free agent after Jordan retired. He flopped with Houston, and was underwhelming with Portland.

I thought Barkley did a good job ripping him on this one.

Re: Anyone heard this?

Anyone else think he'll ask for a contract somewhere in the $5 million range

Re: Anyone heard this?

pippen could barely play the last 2 years he was in the league. what makes him think that after being out for a couple of seasons he is going to be better? you cant fool your own body. come on, give it up. you have won your share, and made your money. its time to go

Hogwash! Even Scottie knows that isn't true.

(I think that's the first time I've ever used the word "hogwash")

Re: Anyone heard this?

Pippen used to have, and probably still does, this obsession with winning a title without Jordan just to say he did
