Freak accidents...

Alright, we've been mentioning mistakes, but how about those extremel strange occurances?

Like bryan barker getting his nose destroyed during a certain week 13?
Or jacobs getting his insides kicked around? (bad omens of the SS era, i know)
OR how about (what's his name) chopping into his leg with an axe in the locker room?

definately mistakes, but so much stranger

Anyone else have examples of bad karma that they just can't seem to forget?

I think we had the all time blunder, when Gus decieded to head butt the wall in back of the end zone, I still a have to laugh, remembering the look on his face when he spun around after he hit it.

Somebody refresh my memory here. Didn't Jeff Hostetler have some sort of freak/career ending injury on the sidelines sitting on his helmet or something like that?

I don't know how many others watch or used to watch wrestling but the unfortunate accident resulting in the death of owen hart was extremely unusual.

and a wrestler by the name of Psycho Sid was jumping off the top turnbuckle and either had one of his legs snap and break halfway up his calf or it was his high ankle, I can't remember.

wasn't there also a pitcher in the past few years whose elbow snapped during one of his pitches?

I can't think of too many injuries that could be related to karma.

I'm a wrestling fan. The Owen Hart death was VERRY weird and unusual, but also very sad. The Psycho Sid Leg ingury was one of the sickest things I have ever seen. It was far wose than how Thiesmens leg looked, if thats any indication for anyone.

In the spirit of Spider-Man, you guys remember when former baseball player Glenallen Hill was having a nightmare about spiders, then he jumped out of bed thinking he was being attacked by spiders then fell down a flight of stairs, through a glass table, and then continued to crawl through the shards of glass because he thought these huge spiders were chasing him.

Ended up on the 15-Day DL

In 1985 Giants quarterback Jeff Hostetler sustained a bruised kidney in an exhibition game, and he missed the entire season because of persistent pain and blood in his urine. He went on to play for several more years (and teams, including our Redskins).

I believe what he said was he had a big fear of spiders and for some reason had decided to see the movie Arachnophobia
