another Bly thread
Broncos | Agent: Bly happy with team
Thu, 8 Mar 2007 22:40:23 -0800 Lee Rasizer, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/168">Rocky Mountain News, reports Denver Broncos CB Dre' Bly is happy with the team and does not want to be traded, according to his agent. "I've had nothing but positive dialogue with the Broncos," said Bly's agent, Kennard McGuire. "There hasn't been one negative element in play...Obviously, he's very excited to be there and has not expressed anything else." Bly is expected to be in Denver Monday, April 2, to begin his offseason conditioning program. I dont understand this at all...not that would need him but what happened to all this i wanna be a redskin? Now he's happy...pffft |

Re: another Bly thread
Meh, that's just his agent smoothing things over and doing some damage control in case he does stay in Denver... which seems unlikely.

Re: another Bly thread
Sounds like code for "we're negotiating a fat bonus for my client. We love Denver, but we'll get the hell out in a heartbeat if the Skins offer more!"

Re: another Bly thread
Good. I hope he stays. He's a shrimp. 5'9 and 180. He is not going to fit in GW's defense anyway.

Re: another Bly thread
The Denver sports talk shows said the same thing that this is a Washington Post made up trade offer. That what Washington wants is way to much. The 6th pick for Bly,1st,2nd and a 3rd. I guess they think we should give away the pick for nothing! I say go to hell and keep Bly and we will trade with someone else or make the pick ourselfs!

HOpe they keep up the hard line w/Denver, they've gouged us too many times before, we're just asking to return the favor. Who else would Denver trade with? |

Re: another Bly thread
I'm fine with them saying that Washington wants too much, burns doesn't it Denver to know that you can't get over anymore ! I'd trade down UNLESS Calvin Johnson falls to 6. I highly doubt it but someone will want to move up and if not screw 'em. Take a D lineman and call it a day.

Re: another Bly thread
I heard the same thing that Bly did want to come to Wash. but is happy to play for Denver. They also stated that this was blown out of perportion (spelling) by the media (imagin that).

Re: another Bly thread
denver wants what we have. he don't NEED bly, we have springs. if they don't want to offer fair value, why impetus is there for the skins to accept the deal?
#6 for their first 3-4 picks with or without bly. nothing less or it's a dead deal and the skins use that pick on a D lineman and call it a day. |

He want's to come to Washington in hopes that Snyder will be stuid enough to give him a new contract and one of our famous signing bonuses. I said before, hell be a free agent at the end of this season, and if the team still has an interest, take our chances then. I wouldn't trade draft picks for him.
