Re: Dhani Jones
Maybe the Ravens? So he can stay fairly local. I went to high school with him. Never once did I imagine he'd make the NFL. I mean he was a great player in high school...but so were a lot of us.

Really. He seems like a fun guy to be around. I know Rich Eisen loves himself some Dhani Jones. |

Anyway, obviously we are concerned about the LB position. Dhani knows our division well, and would probably come pretty cheap. At the very least we'd have a 7 year vet who is a proven starter in this league to add some depth. I wouldn't be against getting him if the FO feels he would fill a need.

My dad refereed a bunch of his matches against my old HS's heavyweight who was also a manimal and he said they were always great. Maybe we'll keep up this big push for LB's and we'll take him.

[quote=GMScud;304932]Churchill grad, huh SmootSmack?? Nice! I played ball for G'town Prep right there on the Pike, just around the corner from Chruchill. You are a few years older than me, but I remember how sick Dhani was in high school.

I played ball at springbrook back in the day too. Dhani was great but Smootsmack's right he was definitely under the radar

I play at churchill now, Dhani's helmet is sitting in a trophy case. our coach played with him aswell. His picture deffinitly doesnt look like he would be a player.
