Re: 6'8 Te!

I went to high school with the guy. He's a very solid, character guy who grew up rooting for the Redskins. I hope he makes it. His dad was my gym teacher and scared the living hell out of everyone. His dad is a Vietnam vet (big ups) who served as a paratrooper, is about 6'3" and 280 lbs., and could beat the living crap out of anyone. I've gotta believe that made his son one tough guy.

Re: 6'8 Te!

At 6'8" he's a good red zone threat and has decent speed, but he's not the best blocker as its hard for him to get good leverage on bigger, shorter guys.

Yeah, I was much more excited about him than the blaylock pickup... suprised that it didn't really get much mention.. he was picked last year to be the steal of the fantasy draft, but didn't really live up to it...

Hey, you never know Rob, Zach might not work out for us...and heck if Zach got passed around the NFL for a few years before getting a chance here, there would still be hope that Joey might play some for the skins eventually.

Re: 6'8 Te!

hahaha... by the way.... I thought you might like this one...

As children, we ran into each other at full speed. Joey got up crying, and I just started laughing. Uncle Joe says that's the day he knew I was the bad-ass. (p.s. I'm soooo cool)

Good Counsel Alumni baby i love this guy coming to the skins. He is massive and his father was the scariest gym teacher i ever had.

Re: 6'8 Te!

Speaking of tall players, why not bring in a 7'10 player and have him attempt to block every kick the opposing team attempts?

I don't know if that would necessarily be tall enough, and I'm sure it wouldn't be a cinch, but I would think it would be worth a try.

Re: 6'8 Te!

Watching this video, this guy could be a very good target in red zone! How is it possible to miss him?
