Want to get excited about Campbell?

NFL Network is showing the replay of the Giants/Redskins game (replaying at 3am for TIVO users) from the end of last season.. Ignore the defense (Ade Jimoh, Vernon Fox, Lemar Marshall, Kenny Wright-all UGH!) and the outcome and watch Campbell come into his own.

The 4th quarter stretch where he led 2 TD drives and completed 10+ straight passes (16-18, 2 td in the 2nd half)is awesome. He came into his own in that game and if he's building off of that we are going to sick on offense.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

A truly impressive second half no doubt, but I don't think I can bear seeing Tiki Barber take us behind the woodshed. He made our run D look like a Pop Warner team. Also, JC did that work against a downright awful secondary in a game that the Giants had well in hand. Granted it was nice to see, but I am cautious about using that as a predictor of things to come.

That hit by Short in the second half scared the bajesus out of me. It was a Trent Green type of hit. I still think it should have been a penalty.

No guarded optimism here, it was a very impressive showing cause JC did not flinch when the Giant Defensive front came after him that is something you cannot teach. Eli had happy feet all game...

I watched it. Campbell looked GREAT. His running, breaking tackles, accurate passes, good decisions...WOW.

No Tiki this year. Our D will be better anyways.

I was surprised to see Duckett and Sellers so involved in the offense in that game.

Hopefully that game is a sign of things to come for JC. He really looked sharp in the 2nd half. I remember he said after the game something along the lines of he was in a zone and wished the season wasn't over because he was really feeling comfortable for the first time.

I got that notice in the mail from Comcast. What they are doing is making you buy a sports package. You can still get it, you just have to pay more. I got the notice and called Direct TV.

I have comcast and they just took HBO away from me, saying thats its now only aviable to digital cabel subscribers.

My mom has the most basic programing from Dish and she gets NFL network (and wont even watch it!)

Im not to sure if i could go to satalite and loose Comcast Sportsnet though.

You can get Comcast Sportsnet with DTV as part of the sportspack

I would get it because i would get my money worth because i watch it quite a bit but i'm only home 4 months a year so it would be a waste with the others in my house.

It's funny that Comcast thinks they're going to make money on that. I would think a lot of people would cancel their service...

Re: Want to get excited about Campbell?

I hope to god JC looks that good coming out of the gate against Miami. Lyod better get his arse in gear and step it up. If we make the playoffs the MSM(mains stream media) is going to look like a bunch of fools( I will too since I think they do make some valid points). The preseason guys don't take much stock in JC and don't think CP is going to last the whole season. Not sure why(with regards to JC), the game we are talking about should have shown folks JC is better than Eli, or at least progressing better.
