F... Pats vs. Cowboys

I think this would go in the locker room, but if you think it goes in the Parking Lot please move it.

But yeah, I'm making this thread for a reason. Everywhere I look, all I see is coverage of this game. NFL Total Access all friggin week, ESPN.com, NFL.com, absolutely everywhere. I've just about had it, I mean there are other games going on this week too. AMG! it's two 5-0 teams meeting. Who friggin cares other than Pats n Cowboys fans? All these sites/shows need to stfu. Over-analysis is such a thing, and this game is being overanalyzed to the fullest extent. I wouldn't be suprised if they started talking about which team's quality control assistants will be key to whoever wins' respective victory.

Re: F... Pats vs. Cowboys

It's a big game, two undefeated teams 1/3 of the way into the season. Both teams with a rich history. It should get coverage.

Re: F... Pats vs. Cowboys

Well I know it should get coverage to some extent, but I think it's getting wayyy too much coverage. Look at this.
ESPN - Clayton: Expect plenty of offense from Patriots-Cowboys - NFL
Go look at the right side of the page under where it says Scouts Inc. 10 out of 11 articles by them have to do with the Patriots and the Cowboys. In fact, most of the links on the right side of that page have to do with the Patriots or the Cowboys. There's even a link to an article with Rachel Nichols about Bill Bellichik's sweatshirt and what his players think of it.

You are 100% correct. It is sickening. Well, I put the Cowboys down to lose this one, so I don't believe all the hype that's going around. when they show those segments about Pats @ Cowboys, I just use the flipper and watch Ugly Betty :vomit:.

If it were the Redskins and Patriots at 5-0 you wouldn't be saying that. It is the game of the week, like it or not. It deserves the coverage.

Re: F... Pats vs. Cowboys

No, I disagree. It's not my game of the week. And because of the over-coverage, we don't watch their programs. I can handle 25% of the broadcast being about the most important game of the week, not 75%.

And i admitted that i would be more into it if they were our teams. But their not. So feed the majority, not the minority. Don't forget about us!

I agree its a bit over done but thats sports these days and I would have to agree that its the biggest match up of the year. I did hear its been like 40 some years sense two teams this far into the season have matched up at 5-0.

I'm not worried about all the hype at this point. If Dallas, loses which seems the most likely outcome, then it just means that more people will have been made aware of their ignominious failure. Be patient folks. We will settle all the family business after Halloween.

Well, all I can say is I live in the Titans market so we are getting the Titans/Bucs game followed by the Cowboys/Pats. I am going over to a friend's house who has Sunday ticket to watch the most important game of the weekend SKINS @ PACKERS!!!!

Re: F... Pats vs. Cowboys

Like Monksdown said, if 25% of all coverage this week was devoted to it, it would be fine. I understand it's two 5-0 teams meeting, and that doesn't happen often, but about 75 percent of all coverage is going in that direction, and I guarantee you 75 percent of all NFL fans don't give a crap about it. Sure we'd like to see who wins, but they are over-covering everything. Like that article about Bill Belichik's sweatshirt. Who honestly gives a crap what players opinions are on that? How many people give a crap about a head coach's fashion. I'd be willing to bet that the majority of them don't.

It's two 5-0 teams. You have Moss, Owens, Brady and Romo. Of course the media is playing it up. What would you expect????

usually these mega-game-to-end-all-games end up being sloppy or blow-outs. Hopefully the blowout works in our favor

Wait, you mean to tell me that Pats @ Colts is not the biggest match up of the year?

Re: F... Pats vs. Cowboys

What this Cowboys/Pats game represents to me, is the current controled test of how close the top of the NFC is right now to the top of the AFC. We will find out Sunday. I think the AFC is by far better than the NFC right now. Like the NFC was over the AFC in the 80's.
