Any word on the injuries sustained from the game?
How's Raybach, Heyor, and Wade looking? Does anyone know how long these guys are gonna be out for?

Re: Any word on the injuries sustained from the game?
Heyer looked bad coming off the field - I bet his injury is a torn hamstring. I would expect Rabach to be ready because he is so tough. Hopefully we can expect the same from Wade.

According to Lloyd,
Initial reports after the game were that Heyer had a sprained MCL. Don't know if this is common knowledge, but it's the first I've heard of this.

Re: Any word on the injuries sustained from the game?
From JLC:
(On the injury front, Casey was shuffling along, not able to walk normally and is getting treatment. Says he is unsure of the severity of the injury. Wade (groin) figures he may have to miss some practice but hopes to play Sunday. Heyer says he was told he has a hamstring pull- which he says is worse than a strain - and although moving rather well said he is not sure when he will practice. It may be midweek before we get a better feel on the availability of these guys given the nature of their injuries and how things can change through the week. I suspect they'll be running some free agent tackles and centers through here Tuesday regardless Also looked like CB Leigh Torrence entered the building carrying MRI results). Redskins Insider |

Of course cause Brandon Lloyd is the eyes, ears and mouth of the team. He knows everything. (Except how to catch a football) But I digress...

Re: Any word on the injuries sustained from the game?
This says a pulled hamsting is the best kind. But reading the 3 different levels he Heyer did not have a grade 1. Lets just hope its not a grade 3.

Re: Any word on the injuries sustained from the game?
More of the same from JLC:
Rabach refereed to his injury as a "tweak" and called himself "day-to-day." Wade said his groin was "still pretty sore" yesterday and expected to need at least a few days off. Heyer said his hamstring was still tender though he was walking well. None was certain about their return to the field, but they did not expect the problems to be long-term. "We're concerned about all of them, but I think we're going to be okay with Casey," Tyer said. "We'll see how it goes day-to-day and update as we go." Redskins Insider |
