Yet another S. Moss article...
Thought I'd post this article that was in our local paper. Nothing we didn't already know but it still is nice to know we have guys that take a poor performance to heart.

Re: Yet another S. Moss article...
YEA I read the article, and maybe after a day later, I think moss deserves a second chances, he's been our best receiver in years, and he wants to be a redskin, I was hard on him to yesterday, but a day later, when I think about the game, the packers needed the ghost of V. L. to help them when that game, I mean, I looked up stats and santana has never played that poor since.......middle school (unoffical), so yea, and we will beat Arz. and remember it was said here first.......we will dominate NE, only to lose by 7-10 points because of a few lucky calls........and if we win Moss probably will be the hero

Moss took it pretty hard. I'm sure he'll be eager to put that game behind him redeem himself. I'm disappointed but I haven't lost faith in him.

Re: Yet another S. Moss article...
Gibbs in his presser gave a nice speech on that--basically, look, even the best players have off days, the guy is a serious competitor who took the loss hard, but the team wins or loses games, and if one player is off, others have to step up, which we didn't do. Plus, he said what I take to be obvious: Moss has made plays for us in the past, and will make them down the stretch. One of the hardest working and most dedicated players on the team, and one of the most explosive playmakers Gibbs has been around.
Moss will bounce back, IMO. The real worry is the o-line.

Re: Yet another S. Moss article...
Just remember MNF against big D... Moss made their ring of honor night a nightmare.
I think he's going to bounce back in a big way. |

Re: Yet another S. Moss article...
Every athlete has a bad game . Not to be negative , maybe Moss and Portis should stay in No. Va. in the offseason instead of running around Miami with Shockey . Every year the three of them have muscle pulls during training camp , no way guys that young should be pulling muscles all the time . Im not down on them , just think if they worked out with the strenght coaches / trainers , they could back them off every now and then and they wouldn't stay hurt all year . Maybe Moss has another game like he had in dallas on that wonderful Monday night CRUSHING 14 -13 DEFEAT OF dallass !

Re: Yet another S. Moss article...
We can all agree that Moss had a very large roll in costing us a victory yesterday. He knows it too. He does deserve a second chance and I don't believe he needs to be cut nor benched. He needs to play like he's the #1 receiver. Right now, it's hard not to have more faith in MacCardell or Randle El.

Re: Yet another S. Moss article...
One of Campbell's best moments yesterday came off the field, when he showed everyone this was his team as he came to Moss' defense
"He is a great person, and I don't want the city or anyone else to say anything bad about him or get down on him," Campbell said of Moss.

Re: Yet another S. Moss article...
Speaking of Woodson, he did more grabbing and hitting after 5 yards than I've seen in a while. I'll take my chances with Moss and ARE against Woodson and Harris, especially on a dry track.
