Wow. Good move SD I think. Bet Miami is kicking themselves for not taking Quinn now.

Guess Ted Ginn was really worth that pick, huh? lol

I am not surprised.
All the sports talk shows here, have been talking about is 2008 Dolphin draft. Look out Jason Taylor, if they can get anything for him

They seriously dropped the ball not taking Quinn. You never know, Derek Anderson keeps up and Quinn could still end up in Miami at a very expensive price.

Miami could be the worst team in football. I think they are worse than the rams. They keep getting worse. The Rams at least have Bulger coming back next week. Trent Green has meatloaf scrambled egg brains.

Chambers is very talented and he'll automatically become their No. 1 receiver. Im glad Ive got him in FF, I'll sit him for a couple of weeks while he learns the offense.

He already knows the offense - Cam Cameron was San Diego's O-coordinator before taking the Miami job this season. This trade is a perfect fit for SD.

Good point, I didn't realize that about Cameron. Great trade.

Chambers is a bad receiver, although his year hasn't been nearly as bad as Moss'.

It'll be interesting to see what SD gave up, if it was anything more than a bag of salt, Miami probably stole AJ Smith's wallet also.

I mean, we got Reche Caldwell and Keenan McCardell for nothing, and they are both better players (albiet less feared) than Chambers.

SD already has fine posession recievers similar to Caldwell and McCardell. Chambers gives them the deep element that they have lacked for years. He caught 11 TDs in 2005 with Gus Frerotte as his QB. Imagine the possibilities with Rivers at QB and teams scheming to stop LT and Gates first. This was a good trade that fills a definite hole for SD's offense.

I guess he brings some athleticism to a team that was sorely lacking it, but I don't understand why team's chase bad players when they could get good ones for the same price. I'm sure that Devery Henderson could be had from the Saints for a third round pick. Or Bobby Engram for Seattle. Both can catch the ball when you need them to.

Chambers...not so much.

I thought it was a 2nd rounder for Chambers

Devery Henderson can stretch a field, but what has he EVER done in the NFL. He has 7 dropped passes this year (and only 8 receptions), and that's a big reason why David Patton is seeing more time in NO. Bobby Engram is just another possession receiver. Chambers is a much better fit than either for SD, especially since he knows the offense already.

I agree totally! He should fit right in.
