ESPN - NFL Power Rankings - National Football League

A modest drop to #11 this week.

If our defense continues to play the way it has we shouldn't drop out of the top 10 all year. If our offense learns to put people away we shouldn't drop out of the top 5. Hail.

I don't know that I hate that we lost to GB, or just hate the WAY we lost.
The guys doing the rankings must know that the Skins outplayed the Packers and just got beat on one play. (the Moss fumble)

It would have been hard for the Skins to drop very far, when no one else really showed anyhting we didn't already know last Sunday.

A win against the Cards should put them back in the top 10.

The D is playing great but they still cant quite take over a game and win it no matter how bad the O plays. When they figure out how to do that, look out.

I think we are right on the cusp of having a D that can take over a game. If it wasn't raining we likely would have had 4-5 INT's (all by #21) last Sunday, we've already got a defensive TD, we've nearly matched our sack total from all of last year, and we're 3rd in the NFL in total D and scoring D. And we've played some very good offenses too- NYG, Philly, Detroit, GB... I think we're gonna FEAST on Rattay and AZ this weekend. Right now the national media is quietly talking about our D. I think that talk will get a lot louder after this weekend.

A dominating win against the cards will put us back in the top 10. Because i think the Lions are ahead of us on one of those power rankings.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Any power ranking that has the Lions ahead of the Skins after we poleaxed them by 31 points has ZERO credibility.

Just win against the Cards, even if it is 3-0. Then let our D show the world how you shut down the Pats.
