Gibbs Doesn't Think We Can Beat Pats

my brother said that he heard in a Gibbs Presser that he said that the pats are on a record breaking season and if gibbs has a gameplan then he should "throw it out".

Thoughts?

Re: Gibbs Doesn't Think We Can Beat Pats

That's not what I heard when I watched him. He said something to the effect of we were the biggest underdogs in History and if someone had a game plan to beat the Pats to leave it with him [Gibbs] because he didn't see any other team with one that worked.

He was giving them zero locker room ammo against us.

peace

As opposed to the usual Gibbs pressers right - "Cleveland, golly gee wiz, I tells ya, they are in big f-----g trouble when they step into Fed-ex."

Re: Gibbs Doesn't Think We Can Beat Pats

This is what he said exactly:

"We'll probably be the biggest underdog in the history of sports," He added, "Has anything held up against them? Do you have a game plan that will work against them? If you do, leave it here. Because I don't think anybody else has got one right now. We're going to struggle hard."

He's just doing a Lou Holtz impression. You know, talk about how great the opponent is. In this case, he's right. They aren't just winning, they're crushing everything in sight. 16 point dogs and we're 4-2 with a top tier D? No respect. I hope that spread is posted all over the locker room. Thank god we get an awful Jets team week 9....

Lol. Gibbs also says this about every team we play. But in this case, he's not off-base: we could beat them, but it's going to be incredibly tough. The pats are playing crazy good right now, and I doubt they stumble at home.

Always praising the opposition while deep inside that fire in his gut, says: I'm going to go out there and kick their ass even they have to drag my body of the field!!

Re: Gibbs Doesn't Think We Can Beat Pats

Every Skin wants to win this game. I have faith our Players are thinking and doing all they can to come up with a way to beat the Pats.

We're Skins for Goodness Sake!!!!
Did we give in when the Germans Bombed Peral Harbor?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I say we can/will win this game.

Hail Skins

Re: Gibbs Doesn't Think We Can Beat Pats

well i know we beat them a few years ago and either we stopped their streak of wins or it started after we beat them. Now i know they weren't as good then but we beat them.

If Gibbs had a game plan this would be a battle of 2 undefeated teams.

We will keep this one close in the first half, as usual our defense will keep us in the game early, take the under in the first half, but as usual they will tire because of lack of rest, and Brady will start to figure them out and win going away late.

If we have any shot at scoring it will have to be the long ball because we ain't running it.
