Anyone have an opinion?

Quincy Carter getting the boot from the Cowgirls reminded me of something I meant to post the other day...

I know, I know... everytime a player gets cut we all think... should we grab him?!?! ...but... rigth now we have Cory Raymer (who I DO Love) and Lennie Friedman dueling for the center position... I HAVE heard about all of the fumbles during the QB-C exchange this week...

My question is.. what do you guys think about this guy Skip Kendall (Released) . He has been a solid starter for years and if he came cheap, at the very least, would be a big upgrade over Friedman right?

I don't know much about the guy... but it's just something to discuss... the center position that is.

A Rat!

The word on the street, is that Kendall was the guy who ratted D. Green out for using Pads at a Mini-Camp. This caused a loss of Cardinal Mini-Camp time.

Green is not going to stand for anyone going behind his back.

I think Friedman is solid enough. He's a tad undersized but Bugel loves his smarts.

Word is that the Giants are going to sign him. If he was complaining about Dennis Greens practice, wait until he meets Sgt. Coughlin.

Agreed, Bostic wasen't overly big, and he had a great carreer with us, brain's are the #1 requirment at center for Bugel, then the rest follow's, it sound's to me like we are in very good shape at center.

I agree the fact Friedman and Raymer have been here all preseason and the fact they both have above average smarts if only average physical prowess mens they will be light years ahead of any jonny come lately no matter how solid he was for his old team.

Fumbles at the snap are expected begining of preseason because the line is getting used to actually blocking other players and performing thier other duties. If is still happening down the road in week four or five or preseason then its a problem but i don't see it with the attention todetail Bugel gives the line..

Personally i think the loss of Raymer was one of the key reasons the offensive line sipped from one of the best blockin units in the game to a joke the year later. Hell when Moore was injured the benifits of plugging Friedman in were self evident even though he wasn't as physically gifted as Larry Moore

We should spend as much time on the guys we have to make them better rather than bring in a 3rd-rate guy who wont start anyway.

Itll help once we know whos going ot start at QB, so they can develpe somethign with the center so they are on teh same page. We dotn want many, or any miscues this year.

I just hope Dockery has made leaps and bounds worth of improvement from last year.
